About this site

What this site is

windwakerrecomp.wiki collects what the projects publish (README files, release notes, release files and issue trackers) and arranges it for people deciding what to download and whether their device can run it. Release tables, file sizes and SHA-256 values are generated directly from the GitHub Releases data of ZeldaWWHDRecomp/ZeldaWWHDRecomp; facts about elliotttate/Wind-Waker-Recomp come from its README and repository data. Everything else is written by hand and checked against the same sources.

Independence

This is an independent third-party site. It is not run by, affiliated with or endorsed by the ZeldaWWHDRecomp developers, elliotttate, chrissotraidis (BlueWake) or any other contributor to these projects, or by Nintendo. The Legend of Zelda, The Wind Waker and Wii U are trademarks of Nintendo; project names belong to their authors. Quoted statements are the projects’ own words.

What this site will not do

• Host or mirror any file: no packages, APKs, executables, games, ROMs, disc images or keys. Every download button points to the project’s own GitHub release.
• Explain how to obtain, dump, decrypt or extract game files or keys. Each project needs a copy you own.
• Publish anything built from a game.

How it is kept current

The release data is fetched again and the site rebuilt when the project publishes; the footer of every page shows the version and the date last checked (currently November 8, 2026).

Advertising and affiliate links

Content pages may carry display ads, and the requirements, controller and Android pages link to controllers on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, this site earns from qualifying purchases. Neither affects which file or setting is recommended.
